How It Works

1

Create a Collection

Give your collection a name, choose a color, and optionally add a description. Collections work like smart folders for your transcriptions.

2

Add Transcriptions

Add any transcription to one or more collections. Use the collection picker on any transcript page, or add in bulk from the collections view.

3

Browse & Research

Browse transcriptions within a collection, search across them, or select multiple sources to generate an AI research report.

Features

Color-Coded Organization

Choose from 8 colors to visually distinguish your collections. Spot the right folder at a glance on your dashboard.

Multi-Collection Support

A single transcription can belong to multiple collections. Tag a lecture as both 'Computer Science' and 'Exam Prep' without duplicating it.

Visual Thumbnails

Each collection displays a fanned stack of video thumbnails from its contents, giving you a visual preview of what's inside.

Research Integration

Select transcriptions within a collection and generate an AI research report that analyzes themes across your curated sources.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do collections work in Scrivi?
Collections are color-coded folders that help you organize your transcriptions. Create a collection, give it a name and color, then add transcriptions to it. A transcription can belong to multiple collections.
Can I add a transcript to multiple collections?
Yes. Scrivi supports many-to-many relationships between transcriptions and collections. A single transcript can appear in as many collections as you need without being duplicated.
Are collections available on the free plan?
Collections are a Pro feature. You can unlock them with a Pro subscription, a $2.99 24-hour pass, or lifetime access. Free users can still transcribe, summarize, and search their videos — collections add color-coded organization and power research reports across your sources.
Can I generate a research report from a collection?
Yes. From within a collection, select 2-5 transcriptions and click Generate Report. Scrivi's AI will analyze the selected sources and produce a structured research report with themes, agreements, and cross-references.
